Whose ball is it? The Great Pickleball Quandary – Answered | In2Pickle

“That was my ball !!!!” Are there enough exclamation points available to stress this point well enough?

But is it – really – your ball? Or mine? And is that the right way to think about it. We think there is a better way. In this video we share our thought process with you.

Keep working at it.

Refreshing video. Probably most of us can relate to this and the problem is really never resolved. I still thought it was MY ball and my partner still thought it was HIS/HERS. LOL I am familiar with the X Factor, but have found that lots of players haven’t a clue what that means. However, I will say that there are certain shots that I want to make (disregarding the X) because I’m good at it, or my partner is. Then we have to discuss. And that’s the key. Having a conversation with your partner as to who takes what shots under what circumstances. Thanks again…Do hope Jill liked the flowers and her head is healing nicely. 😉

"All’s fair in Love and Pickleball".
Looks like you’re simply a ball hogging, poaching, shot stealing, Pickleball player!
Now, go sit down and think about what you have done!
    And make Jill a Martini..

Maybe it is time to talk about non verbal communication. Most people instinctively know that if you suddenly lift your forearm that you are getting ready to strike the ball. The same goes for taking a step towards it while trying to intercept the angle that it is coming from. By not stepping towards the ball or bringing your hand across your body early enough for her to detect; your nonverbal language is telling your partner to get the ball.
