I was looking forward to this video for a while, I feel very lucky right now 🙂

Keep up the good work 👏🏼

Nike Vapor Cage 4 good for anything???

  3. Cillian Ryan on October 22, 2021 at 6:02 pm

Can you do one of these but for basketball shoes

  4. Sébastien Mathieu on October 22, 2021 at 6:03 pm

I had a foot arch injury with the Vapor Pro. I returned them and ordered 4 pairs of Vapors X I could find. These were very good shoes, much more confortable than the Pros.

  5. Walter Hayley on October 22, 2021 at 6:03 pm

Great overview and specifics. I see why the Diadora Blueshield 5 was your #1 shoe in an earlier post. Fortunately, I was finally able to locate a pair; enjoying them so far. Any suggestion for a 71-year old tennis newcomer with a moderately severe case of peripheral neuropathy? I’m distracted enough when playing that it goes unnoticeable most of the time. It’s later, after playing, that I suffer a bit. Thanks Doc!

  6. Tom G. on October 22, 2021 at 6:06 pm

Great overview, you have put a lot of effort into that work, very much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

  7. Augusto Ballester on October 22, 2021 at 6:06 pm

Traction, traction, traction. If you want stability on your strokes, the answer is simple: Yonex Eclipsion 3. Period. Wasting your time with anything else. Don’t believe me: watch Casper Ruud move around the court. Without that footwork, the guy is Top 50 material. Instead, on his way to Top 10.

  8. Federico Bianchi on October 22, 2021 at 6:07 pm

Hi, thanks a lot for this super informative video. I’m gonna ask something, hope not to bother you. I’m 75kg, 1.8m height. I’m quite agile, mostly baseline and big serve. I usually consume shoes very fast (any type, whether it’s walking, running…) so durability is my main concern. I do play up to 3/4 max times a week, only hard court for now but might add clay sooner or later. I don’t have an high budget, let’s say up to 60/70. Do you have a special recommendation for me? If there’s nothing in this price range I could make an extra effort up to 80/90. Have a great day and thanks again!

  9. Hesham Attaya on October 22, 2021 at 6:07 pm

Doctor Zack love your channel!!! Is the Most comfortable shoe hands down the GP turbo?

  10. Jonathan Diamond on October 22, 2021 at 6:08 pm

This video is amazing. Great job man.

  11. Michael Moy on October 22, 2021 at 6:08 pm

I need a wide and high toebox and I currently use the New Balance 857 Cross Trainer in 6E and it’s still a bit tighter than I’d like. I have looked all around for tennis shoes that fit perfectly and have not been able to find anything for tennis that’s better than what I currently use. It’s a lot easier for running as there are a few shoes that come in high/wide toebox in 4E that are comfortable for me (mainly the NB 1080) and there are even 6E shoes with wide/high toebox but those are stability shoes. Are there any other shoes with a wide and high toebox that comes in 4E or, preferably, 6E?

  12. Harry Fowler on October 22, 2021 at 6:09 pm

I have extremely over-pronated feet and require the use of a custom orthotic. I’m currently playing with the SM bounce which is the best I’ve used for my condition. Do you have any other recommendations for extreme over probation?

  13. Mason Wrisley on October 22, 2021 at 6:19 pm

Could you do another hybrid shoe or a Frankenstein shoe, I am always interested in what you could come up with

  14. Zrx on October 22, 2021 at 6:19 pm

How would you compare the Nike Vapor X to the Nike Vapor Pro?

  15. MyBackhandsucks on October 22, 2021 at 6:22 pm

Where is Nike Courtreact Vapor Nxt? I thought this is one of best.

  16. MiSport Co. on October 22, 2021 at 6:23 pm

Thanks Doc, I find what you do really helpful because I am trying to improve my performance footwear designs.

I really appreciate the file. Thank you very much.

  17. SV Lagonda on October 22, 2021 at 6:24 pm

Such a great channel. Love the depth and detail

  18. Zrx on October 22, 2021 at 6:24 pm

How would you compare the arch of the Vapor X to the Vapor Pro because on TW, it says that the arch is lower on the Vapor X. I found the Vapor X to be really comfortable, and wanted to know in your opinion if the arch was the same?

  19. Douglas on October 22, 2021 at 6:25 pm

    What I’m getting from this?

GP Turbo and Solecourt Boost is the way to go

  20. roger hoffman on October 22, 2021 at 6:27 pm

Your work and reviews are exceptional .. as a cook with plantar fasciitis whose getting back into tennis your information is gold.. as there isn’t a pair of 11 diadora blueshields in this galaxy available for sale ..I’ll be going to another wide tennis shoe.. I’ll be buying that list.. honestly you could do this format for every shoe and need on the planet..

  21. Kajo Cikatić on October 22, 2021 at 6:29 pm

Hello Sir, i was wondering if you may know some basketball shoe similar to the benefits that adidas solecourt boost bring ?

  22. BodegaBay on October 22, 2021 at 6:33 pm

So happy I found the Diadora Blueshield 5 from your video months ago. It captures everything I needed in a tennis shoe!

  23. starfusionmz on October 22, 2021 at 6:36 pm

you should do a video on custom orthotics. Opelka and Nadal apparently used them and I wouldn’t be surprised if a bunch of pros do.

  26. zif on October 22, 2021 at 6:40 pm

I’m planning to buy a pair of tennis shoes. Is nike vapor cage 4 a good choice? Please let me know

  27. John Prevost on October 22, 2021 at 6:41 pm

As someone who works in tennis/pickleball shop I’m very interested to hear your opinions on the K-Swiss Hypercourt express 2. Arguably my most popular in the store for people with flat and wide feet. Soft, yet supportive and overall a very popular shoe for the demographic of customers.

How do you feel about this shoe? I haven’t seen it on your channel nor did I see it in these lists but would love your feedback!

  28. Shonny Valle on October 22, 2021 at 6:43 pm

Dr.Zach, what kind of tennis shows, would You recommend me,taking in account that I hace a diabétic neuropathy and I really need a súper soft cushion tennis, besides has to have no weight. Please,I hope there is something that I can wear and not an ugly shoe…thank You!

  29. Teo K on October 22, 2021 at 6:45 pm

Is there a budget version of the solecourt boost? Im not willing to spend that much money on shoes as an amateur but I the softness of the boost.

  30. Felipe Zapata on October 22, 2021 at 6:46 pm

    Thanks Zach! love your vids…

Which ones would you recommend for a recent "Turf Toe" injury?

  31. Duane on October 22, 2021 at 6:47 pm

    Thanks doc. Great info

  32. eco00341 on October 22, 2021 at 6:48 pm

wow. adidas stycon not worthy of any category.. :/

  33. Dave Lee on October 22, 2021 at 6:48 pm

Why e higher heel counter for brace wearers? Is that just thinking about how it helps with stability? It seems the more built up heel counter could interact with the added material of an ankle brace? I tend to have issues with an ankle brace ruining the fit of a shoe. Would you recommend going up a half size, or make it work with the correct size?

  34. Enrico Monti on October 22, 2021 at 6:48 pm

This is the ultimate video, great job Zach!!

  35. ANAND GULANI on October 22, 2021 at 6:51 pm

Doc Zach you are a magic thanks a ton as always messiah 👍🙌🙋‍♂️❤️. Kswiss Hypercourt express 2 wide turned out magic for me ( I had discussed my flat Wide feet issue and ball of foot pain). These Kswiss are magic for me. Another pair of shoes that I am +very surprised are the Adidas courtjam bounce. They are so comfortable, they are so reasonably priced that it creates a doubt
    Salute doc

  36. Ivan Quinoyog on October 22, 2021 at 6:52 pm

Ughh, the only indicator for best shoe for me is … what is on sale…SAD,,,(",)

  37. David Su on October 22, 2021 at 6:53 pm

Got myself a pair of SoleCourt Boosts. Love the wider toe box and cushioning on them. Only issue is that the laces have started digging into my feet due to the thin tongue. What can I do to get more comfort to the top of my feet?

  38. MattsHair on October 22, 2021 at 6:53 pm

So I went with the Blueshield 5 a few months ago… honestly I didn’t know a shoe could be so amazing… loved seeing it on 90% of these lists

  39. Angel Muñiz on October 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Hey Doc. Great video Bro. So looks like best shoe for me would be Add Soulcourt or the Diadora Blueshiel 5. Currently using the Asics solution speed ff2. Are the Diadora wider in the midfoot area than the FF? Thats mi trouble area of the foot. Thanks doc. You keep hitting Homeruns.

  40. Brett S on October 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

    You are a legend!

  41. Imran Ahmad on October 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Great video as always Zach! Do you do shoe consultations? Having a really difficult time finding a good shoe and size. Thanks.

  42. eduardinodecielo on October 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

    Great analysis!!!

  43. Jacobthomas11 on October 22, 2021 at 6:54 pm

Can anyone suggest a long lasting tennis shoe which has good forefoot support? I prefer it not to be too clunky too

  44. Jon Bones on October 22, 2021 at 6:55 pm

Pleasantly surprised to see the courtjam bounce being recommended! Doc, any chance a review is in the pipeline? Seems like an affordable, allcourt pair of shoes.

  45. k g on October 22, 2021 at 6:58 pm

Doc Zac, your reviews are the best! Amazing review! Keep em coming…

  46. Bruno Martorella on October 22, 2021 at 6:59 pm

Wow that Blueshield 5 sounds amazing and it fits a lot of what I need. Unfortunately they don’t exist here in Brazil, so the Court FF2 has been doing the trick
