Thank you for the video! Really helpful content. Have you considered going pro? What would you say differentiates a pro player from strong rec 5+ players (skill wise)?

  3. Jason Thurston on October 21, 2021 at 6:02 pm

Probably you’re best drill video yet. Love the content.

  4. Stephen Erickson on October 21, 2021 at 6:02 pm

The more I watch these great videos, the more I realize a need to work my topspin. It seems like all of these deep ground strokes have top.
As always, great content! The vast majority of my saved pickleball YouTube videos are PTP!! 🙌🏽 😎

Jordan, your videos are very helpful and a cut above most out there. I like the multiple camera angles and excellent demonstration shots of the theories your are focusing on. Keep them coming.

This looks like a great drill and fun too

  14. 耶斯列 on October 21, 2021 at 6:18 pm

Very good drill. To summarize, these drill are about offensive attack drill after offensive side’s serve and defensive neutralize drill after opponent side’s serve. The goal for the training is to keep initiative at any circumstances.

For some reason it drives me crazy to see Jordan always twirling his paddle in between shots. Of course he’s a good player but doesn’t that waste previous time and energy which could be used in a different way such as paddle up in ready position etc ? I know it’s his style and his choice / I just see no productive reason for it and it looks like a bad habit

  16. Hector Yanez on October 21, 2021 at 6:24 pm

Great work Jordan! Thanks for the tips and drills! I have been waiting for something like this.
    Gracias!

  19. Derrick Mercer on October 21, 2021 at 6:26 pm

I am not a 4.0 I’m more like a -3 but this was amazing. I’ve been playing so wrong it makes me wanna scream. This is useful.

  20. Teresa Mclaughlin on October 21, 2021 at 6:28 pm

I love Jordans videos! Jordan is a great player and coach! I just wish Jordan wouldn’t twirl his paddle between shots…I think it is a nonproductive habit and he would discourage a student from doing this…but with that said, he is an awesome teacher!!!

  21. matt merliss on October 21, 2021 at 6:28 pm

The key is finding a good drilling partner that can keep the rally going.

  32. Saxologist on October 21, 2021 at 6:44 pm

Fantastic video! After playing for 2 years, I cannot get over 3.5. Why? I cannot get anyone to do drills like this, or any other, because they’re all rec players and are not interested in improving their skills.

  33. Connie Tresize on October 21, 2021 at 6:44 pm

Jordan I asked you earlier about your PB Paddle the Encore 6.0 MX, I was all set to purchase it when I came across a review on PBC that said the paddle started to crack after 3 weeks, had it replaced and it started to crack again in the same place. Did you experience this with your paddle. Thanks Vito
