Pro Senior Mixed Doubles GOLD from the 2019 Las Vegas Pickleball Open

We’ve got a bonus pro match for you from the 2019 Las Vegas Pickleball Open. The Pro Senior Mixed Doubles Gold Medal Match. Watch former tennis pro Cammy MacGregor team up with Chris Miller to play for gold against Kevin Booth and Kris Anderson. Booth and Anderson have fought their way through the opportunity bracket to get their shot at a gold medal, watch the match to see if they can make it happen.

You may notice a change of scenery for this match. While Chicago may be the windy city, Las Vegas had its fair share of gusts in store for the 2019 Las Vegas Pickleball Open. With the wind blowing at over 30 miles per hour, the tournament director made the decision to move the last day of the tournament indoors to the Jam On It Sportsplex in nearby Henderson, Nevada. Are the players ready to handle this kind of shake up? Watch the match to find out.

Yellowish ball on a yellowish floor with yellow lines. I didn’t know where the ball was most of the time except by watching the players’ reactions.

Just bad play in that first match….I’m guessing they weren’t used to the bounce off that floor or it was tough to see….

  4. Jina Allen on December 7, 2021 at 11:38 pm

I agree with all. They needed different color tape and different color ball!

  5. Dale Voigt on December 7, 2021 at 11:41 pm

What ball are they using indoors?

  6. Timoti Batac on December 7, 2021 at 11:49 pm

Blue tape could have been the best choice of color for better visibility.

Wow, that is a tough court to play on for all the players! Surprised at this level there wasn’t a better facility conducive to playing surface and color contrast, peripheral distractions, etc.
