What’s cool is organized pickleball like this is still new. As younger people play it’s going to become much more athletic. It’s cool seeing a sport evolve. Got my first paddle today 😎 Played all the time at my dads rec center 10 years ago. Looked it up randomly the other day. This is everything I wanted when I played. His rec center in Lee County Florida was actually a huge pickleball hot spot back then. I’m surprised on the college level there isn’t a club league. This would easily get a following amongst students like ultimate frisbee.

That girl commentator really is annoying

For myself and the others I play with have always done better playing against the wind. It’s nice to be able to stroke the ball hard and the ball stays in. When playing with the wind too many balls go out, or you have to not hit the ball the way you really want to. And in the match you see the player that started downwind won each time.

Great Match. Really loved watching these two great players battle it out. Learned a lot by watching this match!

Some of the worst camera cuts I’ve seen. Too many excellent shots missed due to the wrong camera angle.

Need to get rid of the side outs and play rally score, takes too long to end game if pickleball ever wants to go big time. Like billiards, when the played 14.1 straight pool then 9 ball became popular and poll took off. Same with pickleball no other pro sports has sideouts.

    Two great athletes.
Tyson is so much more aggressive in his shots. Kyle is a great player but should be more confident putting a bit more power. Great match. Fun to watch.

Commentator says "crowd going wild" really ? …. the average spectator age is 65. How wild can they get. This isn’t a rock concert.

  13. Thor Matt on May 14, 2021 at 12:50 am

Commentators please shut up! You ruined this video.

Its a good thing Kyle let Tyson win this match. When Tyson got his ass beat by Rob Elliot, he threw his paddle down like a baby. Poor loser.

This brings back some memories from high school. Most of my friends and I were tennis players, and we used to play pickleball almost every day. I once played against a guy on my tennis team who was ranked #7 in the state. I thought I was good, but he humbled me 15-7 in a game to 15.

  18. 26realmc on May 14, 2021 at 12:58 am

Possibly the worst camera angles I have ever seen. Terrible

  19. J on May 14, 2021 at 12:59 am

If McGuffin picked his wedgie before his serve, he’d practically be the Rafa Nadal of pball

  20. Tom Tom on May 14, 2021 at 1:00 am

Guys this is a pickleball game not a Formula 1 race. Commentary is both pathetically over the top and so hard to listen to.

They are 5.0’s at the top of there game, stop being overwhelmed at the everyday expectation of such players. Either that or give the microphone to someone else.

Maybe travel the world a little would also help you from being overwhelmed at someone playing the game pickleball as fun and as exciting as it is to many.

  21. Tom Tom on May 14, 2021 at 1:02 am

Wish one of these commentators would shut the bejeezus up.

Physco annayleses of each shot is bloody annoying.

They make what should be rudimentary shots and folks they are "AMAZING".

Shut up!! You are dribbling crap!

  22. Joseph D T on May 14, 2021 at 1:02 am

even I can beat Kyle – is this a Gold medal match? Damn – what a pathetic quality of strategic gameplay; that guy needs to hit drops while serving that hitting passing shots and then come forward to attack to hold serves

  23. R Mo on May 14, 2021 at 1:06 am

Duralast 40 balls are junk, crack, get lopsidedly, bounce funny. Course at tournaments at this level the change the balls before they turn into crap.

  24. Bobbi Patrick on May 14, 2021 at 1:08 am

How about trickier shading on the court–geez!

  25. Collin S. on May 14, 2021 at 1:09 am

    23:40 what is out?

  26. Alexander Balog on May 14, 2021 at 1:09 am

No comments about how ridiculously retarded this game is? Aight

  27. Chris Reed on May 14, 2021 at 1:15 am

Look at that crowd. Average age: 81

  28. HeavenlyFloodofRegen on May 14, 2021 at 1:20 am

That McGuffin guy seems really important to the plot.

  29. Tyler Russin on May 14, 2021 at 1:21 am

Coming from table tennis and playing my first game of pickleball today, I was kind of expecting the pros to be a little more of an experience to watch. I’m sure their shots are excellent and all that but the rallies just don’t seem that great for the most part. Look up Xu Xin if you wanna check out table tennis!

  30. Alex Dashkoff on May 14, 2021 at 1:22 am

Any tennis players not even a little impressed?
