Thanks Mark – after watching four days of tournament play at the Palm Desert Picklebowl, I see how important it is to be able to remove speed from a fast shot. Will try the drill tomorrow!

Mark, there is a big bopper in my group whose "strategy" consists of blasting both backhands and forehands directly at whoever is at the NVZ line. My counter is to soft block every blast into the kitchen with some backspin. I have beaten this dude five straight games, and he looks progressively more puzzled after every loss. Thanks for the drill!

Mark, I liked your tip on catching the ball on your paddle. The second way you demonstrated it was especially easy to understand and practice. Thanks.

I love your videos and I am "absorbing" as much as possible from them.. now if I can only absorb those fast balls. Time will tell. thank you, Mark.
