There are if course conditions to rushing the kitchen, but it is still the rule of thumb to teach.. For recieving team, rush the kitchen. (a deep return gives you more time). For the serving team, rush the kitchen if you or your partner hit an effective 3rd shot drop, if not, stay back and and try a 5th shot drop.. and so on,, but as soon as you get a good drop.. rush rush rush the kitchen as your team is at a great disadvantage until you get there.

Good tips. Should the partners travel together up to the NVZ ? I find myself up there and my partner back.
