This is my biggest nightmare and this was great advice and how I am going to implement this is to put my power game on the back burner and work on my slow control game and we will see how that works. Thanks again for delivering some great instruction

Usually I love these videos, but this one had a little too much background noise.

Hi CJ! Elaine here! I want to try your suggestions to help control pop-ups. I’m an advancing 3.0 player and love this sport. In another of your videos, you also mentioned one’s grip can adversely affect ball control. I want to experiment with that also. I’m lucky to be in dedicated foursome, we’re all about the same age and ability level, enjoying outdoor play with all Covid precautions. Have a great week! E:)

Thanks for the video! I have a pretty good dink game but pop up in the transitional zone or back court when trying to get up. I don’t run through the ball (which I know can add speed and pop ups). How can I prevent pop ups from these locations. I play with really good players so for them a pop up is anything over 2 feet above the net.

CJ I love your videos but too much background noise in this video. I could not concentrate at all on the video. I wish you could redo this because it had good information as always in your videos!!

Forgot to talk about grip pressure. Soft shots should be hit with light grip pressure. A grip pressure that is too tight causes the ball to bounce more strongly off the paddle contributing to more pop ups. See; your interview with Dave Weinbach.
