Is it better to hit ball before it reaches its apex or after?

Do you break your elbow when hitting the shot?

We could not see where the ball landed..we needed two cameras..1 right to side and 2 at net.

Ok, I hate to be the guy to challenge the pro but here goes.
I’ve got a pretty darn good drop shot and I have used it in Tennis, Badminton and now Pickleball.
My backhand drop is almost non return/attack "able", it mostly just gets hit into the net or popped up for a smash.
That said I don’t disagree with you on this video up to your "low-high" paddle motion?? That essentially is a Lob? The drop shot has to come from High-Low in order to control pace and soften the drop on landing.
Low-high will keep the ball up more than necessary.
Yes you’re a Pro and I’m not but if we had the opportunity I’d love to put our shots together and have CJ do an evaluation.
In the end if it works, it works..
    Take care,
    Kev-
CJ, I’ll be up in October, I’m going to try n find ya on the courts.
Hopefully you’re safe n not smoked out.

Great video. Also, can I just say how amazing that new Dave Weinbach signature paddle looks…? I thought the old Tempest one looked awesome, but that one is mind-blowing as well…
