I was wearing "Compression Calf Sleeves" in longer triathlon competitions to prevent cramps, but I guess they can substitute compression socks as well. Actually, I think I would prefer the former to the latter. Easier to get on, you can use your normal socks, and compression calf sleeves perhaps are perhaps a bit more "young" to wear, (if the look is important … I don’t know.)

Compression socks actually made my varicose vein pain worse, and I was actually measured and fitted for a pair.

Hi Doctor Adam. What would be the benefits of wearing compression shorts 🩳 and or compression t-shirt 👕?

I’m wearing compression recovery socks at this moment. Did a run this morning, stretched afterwards, socks go on until bedtime. Always found they help.

Dr Story, do you think Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation helps with recovery? I was lent a tens machine and put the pads on my medial glute and lower calf and it seems to give temporary pain relief.

Compression socks were a LIFESAVER when I was pregnant. I had the worst restless leg syndrome and the only way I could sleep was wearing compression socks. Now I wear them when I’m sore from a workout.
