Best Bags in Pickleball!

The Pickleball Librarian discusses a few of his favorite bags and goes into details about what he likes and doesn’t like about them. He covers medium, large, and small sizes.

Gearbox Court Backpack at $85 has been his main bag. The durability is impressive. The only issue on that he didn’t mention was the reflective insulation lining is starting to come loose, but that doesn’t affect performance.

Onix backpack at $50 was his main bag. It’s very affordable for what it offers, but isn’t nearly as durable as the Gearbox bag.

TMPR Tour 1 Backpack at $80 is an amazing price for a bag that holds so much. It can hold paddles for your whole baseball team!

Franklin Sling bag is highly affordable at $30 and carries a lot for the minimalist.

Prolite Fuel Bag at $80 is the best deluxe smaller bag we have seen. The features, pockets, and durability set this aside.

Great video. What is that clip holding your sneakers together? I need that! Thanks

Thanks for your review. I’m looking for a bag that could hold a small (six-pack) cooler, measuring 9.5"x7.5"x7". Do you think the Gearbox bag’s main compartment is big enough for that? The TMPR bag looks like it would do the job.

I have had the Onix bag for over a year. I don’t like it at all. The main reason. No water bottle pouch. Between games I don’t want to dig into the main compartment. There are lots of outside pockets but they are all too small. The insulated one can barely hold any snacks and the upper ones will not fit my sunglasses or even my phone. It can’t zip up if you do use it anyway then when you fling it on your shoulder your stuff flys out. Yup I cracked my phone screen once and lost my sunglasses. Because the shoe compartment is on the bottom when your bag is sitting up stuff gets lost deep around the edges around the shoes. I lost my watch for a week not realizing. And the shoes are annoying to take in and out. I really tried to like this bag because of all the great reviews but in the end it was just too annoying for me.
